Hanoi Customs will implement aviation National Single Window

Mr. Tran Quoc Dinh, Deputy Director of Hanoi Customs Department,said: Deploying the National Single Window system at Noi Bai International Airport is a big plan of Customs in order to implementGovernment Resolution 19/2016/NQ-CP. The deployment of National single window in aviation modernizes the customs sector, in the roadmap for NSW.

The aviation National single window system at Noi Bai international airport when operating will achieve the following: To receive and respond to declared information about goods and passengers of international flights in advance of the airlines at National Single Window portal for one-stop procedures for state management agencies at the Noi Bai international Airport; implementation of e-customs procedures for aircraft exit and entry; cargo management, baggage and passenger entry and exit using information technology systems; and apply risk management and implementation of automatic advance screening for cargo and luggage of passengers on the system.

Through the aviation national single window system, the exchange of information between state management agencies and enterprises at Noi Bai international airport is also done electronically, thereby serving good professional activities and state management of customs at Noi Bai international airport.

Following the plan, Hanoi Customs Department will conduct manifest receipt information and electronic procedures for aircraft exit and entry for several major airlines and risk management airmail from 1-1- 2017. Implement comprehensive national one-stop aviation procedures from 1-7-2017.

The implementing agencies include Customs, border security, port authorities, agencies and Quarantine, Health, airlines, business enterprises in the port.
