Hanoi continues to publicize businesses which have tax debt

In the first ten months of 2016, the Hanoi Tax Department collected the total tax debt of 10,514.5 billion vnd. |
According to the Hanoi Tax Department, on November 9, 2016, it publicized the 11th time of in 2016 the list of 156 businesses with tax debt and land rent fees with a total of 150.3 billion vnd. In which there are 143 businesses which have tax debt and fees of 121.9 billion vnd and 13 businesses oweland rent tax of 28.3 billion vnd.
However, after being publicized, some businesses still delay and do not pay the tax debt. The Hanoi Tax Department is implementing drastic measures to coerce the account and the invoice as per the provisions. In parallel, the Department also reviewed and continue to publicize these business’s names to ensure the transparency and fairness for the business community and the tax payers.
In the latest list of enterprises which have tax debt that is publicized by the Hanoi Tax Department, there are 67 enterprises of tax debt, fees with a total of 644.3 billion vnd. Topping the list of tax debt is the Quang Minh Corporation Joint Stock Company with tax debt of nearly 79.5 billion vnd. Then, the Vietnam Industrial Electronics Group Corporation with tax debt of 74.6 billion vnd. In the top 3 of the tax debt is the Vietnam Investment Promoting Technics and Construction Joint Stock Company with tax debt of 43.6 billion vnd.
The Hanoi Tax Department requires enterprises, and leaders of projects to arrange the source of financing soon to pay the liabilities to the State Budget prior to the Tax Authority applying the more drastic measures.
In the first 10 months of 2016, the Hanoi Tax Department has collected a total tax debt of 10,514.5 billion vnd. Together with the task of revenue collection, the Hanoi Tax Department focuses on the management and tax debt collection and reduction of the new arising debt and considers it as a key task.

Besides implementing the management process of tax debt in a timely fashion, the Hanoi Tax Department regularly understands the production and business performance of tax payers, listens to and collects the information from the tax payers to identify the cause of the tax debt and has the appropriate solutions for each case to share and support the tax payers to overcome the difficulties and complete their duties to the State budget.
