On September 28, Hai Phong Customs Department held a ceremony to announce the appointment decision and re-appointment of leaders.

Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Mai Xuan Thanh handed over decisions to appointed officials.

At the ceremony, the leader of Personnel and Organisation Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) announced the appointment decisions.

On September 24, Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision 246/QĐ-TCHQ on re-appointing Nguyen Sy Trang as Deputy Director of Hai Phong Customs Department.

Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision 248/QĐ-TCHQ appointing Truong Binh An - Manager of Hai Phong port area 1 Customs Branch as Deputy Director of Hai Phong Customs Branch.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Mai Xuan Thanh highly appreciated the ability, qualification, morals and contribution of Nguyen Sy Trang and Truong Binh An to the work of Hai Phong Customs Department.

“Hai Phong Customs Department was the big unit and entrusted by General Department of Vietnam to implement the pilot of many reform and modernisation programmes. Therefore, in the future, it was suggested that Nguyen Sy Trang, Truong Binh An continue to promote capacity, experience and together with leaders of Hai Phong Customs Department to lead the unit and complete assigned tasks,” Deputy Director General Mai Xuan Thanh said.

Speaking to accept duty, Trang and An expressed their determination to complete assigned tasks.

Currently, the board of leadership of Hai Phong Customs Department includes Director Nguyen Duy Ngoc and Deputy Directors Nguyen Sy Trang, Nguyen Kien Giang, Truong Binh An.
