Forty-five of 63 provinces and cities complete domestic revenue target in 2020

According to the report from the General Department of Taxation, through December 24, the State budget revenue collected by the Tax sector reached VND1.2 billion, or 96.93% of the estimate, and increased more than VND112 trillion compared to the figure reported by the Government to the National Assembly in June.
As of December 25, 45 of 63 provinces and cities have completed and exceeded the 2020 State budget revenue plan. The remaining localities continue to strive to achieve the highest revenue.
To achieve above results, the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation has promptly carried out solutions to support people and businesses and together with the participation of the entire political system from the central to local levels in the implementation of the “dual tasks” according to the direction of the Party Secretary-General and State Presidentof “fighting the pandemicas if fighting an enemy”, and focusing on socio-economic recovery and development, as well as ensuring people's life.
In addition, it is due to the great efforts of the Tax sector in collecting outstanding tax debts and preventing losses for State revenue.
The General Department of Taxation andthe Ministry of Finance will synchronously implement tax administration solutions, support and create the most favorable conditions for taxpayers to fulfill their tax payment obligations, and strive to achieve the highest revenue target.
