VCN - The Ministry of Finance recently issued Decision 1238 / QD-BTC on adjusting, amending and supplementing the price list for the calculation of registration fees for automobiles and motorbikes.

There are 46 imported automobile models and 28 domestically manufactured and assembled ones (nine seats or less) whose prices are adjusted for registration fee calculations.

Hyundai has fourmodels including: Grand i10 1.2 MT with a new price of VND 350 million, SantaFe TM2 2.2 TCI 8AT with a new price of VND 1,125 billion, Tucson TL1-1.6GM 7DCT FL with a price of VND 880 million and Tucson TL4-2.0R 8AT FL with a price of VND 873.7 million. The price for registration fee calculation decreased from 20 to VND 66.3 million.

Mazda has 11 models including: Mazda3 adjusted from VND 40 million to VND69.4 million. The biggest adjustment is Mazda3 15G SD BP model, down from VND 738.4 million to VND 669 million (down VND 69.4 million) and Mazda 3 20G AT SD FL version reduces to VND 730 million (down 40 million)

Three versions of the Mazda CX-5, including 20G AT 2WD KW, 25G AT 2WD KW and 25G AT AWD KW, with the price for the registration fee calculation falling from VND 824 million to VND 1.014 billion, down from VND 65 to 135 million compared to the past. Mazda CX-8 25G AT 2WD is worth only VND 1,039 billion, down by VND 100 million compared to the past.

The new price of for registration fee calculation of the Peugeot 3008 model is VND 999 million and VND 1,109 billion, down from VND 40 million to VND100 million. The Peugeot 5008 model also reduces about VND 100 million.

In contrast to automobiles, some imported motorbike models have had prices revised up for registration fee calculation. The Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black with a capacity of 1,200 cc, the registration fee calculation price is adjusted from VND 560.4 million to VND 619 million, or the Triumph Bonneville T120 model is adjusted from VND 422 million to VND 569 million.

According to the General Department of Taxation, undercurrent regulations, the price adjustment for registration fee calculation is made when the market price of automobiles and motorbikes has an increase or decrease in the range of 5%.
