Through processing, customs forces collected and remitted to the State budget nearly 80 billion VND, prosecuted 23 cases and other agencies proposed transfer prosecuted 42 cases.

In January 2016, the General Department of Customs coordinated with C46, Ministry of Security, held a successful campaign XD116 to break the activity of petrol smuggling of Dong Duong Hoa Phu Joint Stock Company in Binh Thuan.

In customs declaration No. 100726667900 Customs Branch of Binh Thuan, goods were declared as RON 92 with total weight of 1,877.562 tons, worth over $804,266 USD.

However, on inspection, functional forces discovered the entire shipment being transported on ship BTS CHRISTINA Singapore to Vietnam had a total weight of of 9,173.394 tons, equivalent to 13,104.784 A92 cubic meters of unleaded petrol (RON92), goods worth over $202 billion VND.

In 2015, customs forces presided and coordinated to arrest 19.735 cases of violation, the value of infringing goods was estimated to 462 billion VND.
