Enterprises and households producing agricultural and aquatic products exported to China should coordinate closely with import partners to strictly abide by Chinese regulations. |
Specifically, strictly implementing the regime of managing goods being consumed in markets and supermarkets; strengthen inspection of papers such as certificates of quality standards, certificates of origin and purchase documents for agricultural products used as food.
Besides, banning trading and storing of foods that do not conform to food safety standards; cases of trading imported food must provide quarantine testing documents from customs offices.
In addition, strengthening surveillance for management and eliminating disease risks for key commodities (fresh and cold) such as seafood and fishery products, livestock and poultry meat such as pork, beef, lamb; prohibit dealing and purchasing wild animals; strengthen the organization of sampling inspections for key foods.
Dongxing city's government (bordering Mong Cai, Quang Ninh) has recently strengthened the checks on origin and product quality for seafood and meats at agricultural markets, supermarkets and hotels in the locality.
In that circumstances, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) recommends businesses and households producing agricultural and aquatic products to be exported to China to enhance quality supervision, actively coordinate closely with import partners to strictly abide by Chinese regulations on quality standards, quarantine testing, food safety, traceability for imported goods.

At the same time, actively monitor information about the market to proactively bring goods to the border gates, thereby contributing to minimizing risks and clearance time for goods at border gates.
