Border Defense force seized 600 kg of firecrackers

VCN - On 5/2, representatives of the Anti-Drugs and Criminal Department of Border Defense force said that the unit coordinated with Lang Son Border Defense force to close successfully special project No.083A, and destroyed the trading and transportation line by apprehending 600kg of firecrackers from China to Vietnam.

Accordingly, after a period of chasing, at 4:30 PM on 1/2, at the area milestone 1201 in Cao Lau commune, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province, the working group arrested Nong Khang (was born in 1987 and resides in Luong village, Trat An commune, Linh Minh district, Quang Tay province, China), while he was transporting 600kg of firecrackers into Vietnam.

At the Ba Son Border Station, Nong Khang claimed that the purpose of transporting the above firecrackers was to sell for earning profits during the Lunar New Year 2018.

Currently, the Lang Son Border Guards are conducting an extensive investigation, handling it in accordance with regulations.
