642 times of imported medicines were declared on prices

Since the beginning of the year, 841 times of domestically produced medicines were declared on prices.

In particular, imported medicines had 642 times declared on prices and 11 times re-declared on prices.

For domestically produced medicines, 841 times were declared on prices and 21 times were re-declared on prices.

Thus, the volume of drugs with increasing fluctuation subject to price re-declaration accounted for a small proportion of the total volume of medicines on the market.

In June 2017, the Price Management Department said that the medicine market basically remained stable and met the people's demand for disease prevention and treatment. Through a survey of some medicines in retail sales on the market, no commodity had a change in price compared to May 2017.

The medicine prices are basically stable due to abundant supply and stability of prices of imported medicines and raw materials for medicine production. In addition, the Ministry of Health and the Departments of Health constantly enhanced the review of declared medicine prices, contributing to price stability.
