Online Talk show “Enterprises voluntarily comply with Customs law: Perspectives from both sides” to kick off from 9 am to 11 am on October 9

In the context of the socio-economic situation on the path of recovery and continued growth, the Government and ministries and branches have provided many drastic and flexible solutions to continue promoting economic development, improving the business environment, supporting and facilitating enterprises to restore production and develop.

The “encouraging enterprises to voluntarily comply with Customs law” is one of the major policies of the Government, the Ministry of Finance and the Customs industry, aiming to improve the law compliance of enterprises and create momentum for business and production growth.

According to the provisions of the Customs Law, the level of enterprise compliance is an important basis for the Customs to apply preferential policies, facilitate customs procedures, and is also a key criterion for applying risk management and deciding on classifying goods channels for inspection.

In addition to providing transparent information and disseminating trade facilitation policies, the Customs needs to issue mechanisms and take measures to encourage, support and improve the compliance level of the group of compliant enterprises, and clearly identify the group of non-compliant enterprises for applying effective and appropriate management methods.

In order to provide overview to readers after two years of implementing the Pilot Program to support and encourage enterprises to voluntarily comply with Customs law (under Decision No. 1399/QD-TCHQ dated July 15, 2022 of the General Department of Vietnam Customs), Customs Magazine will hold an online Talk show under the theme “Enterprises voluntarily comply with Customs law: Perspectives from both sides”.
