On August 9, the leader of the Anti-drug Enforcement Team (Hanoi Customs Department) informed that the Hanoi Customs Department had just coordinated with the Hanoi City Police to terminate a drug trafficking line disguised in wine bags and air compressors from France to Vietnam.
Accordingly, implementing the HP724 project, on July 19, 2024, the Hanoi Customs Department coordinated with the Hanoi City Police to terminate a drug trafficking ring from France to Vietnam; seized 116.38 kg of drugs (including 101.8 kg of synthetic drug MDMA and nearly 14.6 kg of ketamine).
Notably, through the process of fighting to solve the case, the competent forces continued to discover new and sophisticated methods of drug concealment by the subjects in order to deceive the competent forces.

Synthetic drugs were hidden in vacuum bags, then disguised in wine bags and in air compressor tanks.
During the investigation, 5 subjects were arrested by the authorities. The case is still under investigation and processing.
