Quang Binh Customs Department has effectively performed Decision No.2554 of the Ministry of Finance on assigning the state revenue and expenditure estimates for 2023; Directive No. 479 of the General Department of Vietnam Customs on the comprehensive and drastic implementation of solutions to facilitate trade, improve state management effectiveness, and prevent revenue loss in performing the revenue collection in 2023.
Based on the Plan on Revenue collection in 2023, the Department has analyzed, evaluated and predicted the actual status of import and export activities in the area to take measures for revenue collection; monitored and controlled the revenue collection and payment; focused on raising new revenues and maintaining revenues.
The Department has disseminated and improved the efficiency of e-tax payment and customs clearance 24/7 to create maximum favourable conditions for quick collection and payment, shorten the time of circulating tax payment documents, and prevent errors for businesses and Customs authorities.
In addition, the Department has contacted enterprises to grasp and support their operation.
The Department has also resolved problems related to customs procedures and tax policies for enterprises, gathered feedback from enterprises, facilitated and encouraged them to carry out procedures in the area.
The local customs department has consulted policies and procedures for the business community and developed Customs-Business partnerships to help them understand and comply with the customs law and limit offences.
Moreover, the Department has strictly controlled the area and coordinated with law enforcement in combating smuggling and cross-border illicit trafficking.
