Customs earns VND300 billion in revenue from post-clearance audit

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the whole Customs sector has conducted 219 post-clearance audits, including 116 audits implemented at businesses’ premises. VND77.88 billion was remitted to the State budget.

By the end of July, the Customs sector has conducted 885 post-clearance audits, including 358 audits at businesses’ premises with actual revenue of about VND300 billion.

The Post-clearance Audit Department collected and remitted US$142.63 billion, accounting for 48% of the total revenue of the post-clearance audit force.

In July, the General Department of Vietnam Customs made plans and implemented the post-customs clearance audit.
