Previously, based on the request of the right holder and attached documents, on June 23, the inspection team of Market Management Team No. 1, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Market Management Department conducted a sudden inspection of the BIVA brewery establishment at O4, hamlet Bac 2, Hoa Long commune, Ba Ria city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, owned by Vu Tuan Chau (born in 1963).
Through inspection, the competent force detected the establishment was storing 4,712 barrels of finished BIA SAIGON VIETNAM beer (1 barrel = 24 cans, 1 can = 330ml), 116,700 cans (type of 330ml) and 3,300 beer barrels (carton boxes). They had signs of infringing protected rights.
The inspection team temporarily seized all goods and related documents.

Based on records and documents, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Market Management Department transferred the case dossier and all goods and papers which were temporarily seized to the investigation police agency (PC03), Ba Ria-Vung Tau Police to verify, investigate and handle.
Recently, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Police Investigation agency issued Decision No. 85/QDKTVA-CSKT to prosecute the criminal case of "infringement of industrial property rights".
Currently, competent forces of Ba Ria - Vung Tau are investigating the case.
