Dong Nai Customs levies administrative violations of more than VND 6 billion

Enterprises implement procedures at Dong Nai Customs

The main violations were failing to declare or make a false declaration of the name, type, quantity, volume, quality, value, HS code, tax rate or origin of import-export goods; violating regulations on the management of raw materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, processed products, export production and processing, resulting in the amount of goods in the inventory lacking compared with accounting documents and accounting books, export and import goods dossiers.

For example, K.VN Co., Ltd. was sanctioned VND 1.85 billion for violating regulations on the management of raw materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, processed products, export production and processing, resulting in the amount of goods in the inventory lacking compared with accounting documents and accounting books, export and import goods dossiers.

S. VN Co., Ltd. was also sanctioned VND 116 million for failing to declare or making a false declaration of the name, type, quantity, volume, quality, value, HS code, tax rate, origin of import – export goods during implementing customs procedures for import – export goods. However, enterprises have detected and made additional tax declaration dossiers after checking customs dossiers and before the time of implementing cargo clearance.

Similarly, VN MP Co., Ltd also failed to declare or made a false declaration of the above criteria but was detected by Customs authority during the process of carrying out customs procedures or detected when inspecting and conducting a post clearance audit. The enterprise voluntarily paid all the amount of payable tax in accordance with regulations before the time of making the violation record. The company was sanctioned VND 117 billion.

According to Dong Nai Customs Department, in May, the unit will strengthen anti-smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods for goods serving Covid-19 prevention efforts.
