After exposing names, only one-third of enterprises and project paid tax debt

In the list of publicised tax debts in May 2019, there were 202 units owing taxes, fees and other debts related to land with total debt of 1,126 billionVND.
Notably, 91 enterprises were exposed for the first time with a debt of 21.9 billionVND. Top of the list was Lung Lo 5 Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, owing 4.5 billion VND as of March 31, 2019.
Besides that, four units owed 31.5 billion VND of land rent (top of the list was SyNgan Joint Stock Company with a debt of 15 billion VND) and the unit that owed 46.9 billion VND of land use fees that was Quang Trung Mechanical One Member Company Limited.
On the rest of the list, there were 106 units owing 1,026 billion VND of taxes, fees and other debts related to land. Those are units that have been exposed in the previous years by Hanoi Tax Department (in 2015, 2016, 2017 or 2018).
Specifically, among 94 enterprises owing 588 billion VND of taxes and fees, ranking in the top of the list was Shipbuilding Industry Corporation with the debt of 168 billion VND (as of March 31, 2019). There were five units owing 13 billion VND of land rent and seven units of land use debt.
According to the Hanoi Tax Department, from the beginning of the year, the Department of Taxation publicised for the first time with 258 units owed tax, fee and other debts related to land with total amount of 1,099 billionVND. At the same time, re-publicizing for 115 units with a total debt amount of debt was 2,568 billionVND.
The result after exposing, there were 104 enterprises and projects paying 35.9 billion VND into the State budget.
