4,479 billion dong of Government bonds successfully mobilized

VCN- On 10-8-2016, Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) held an auction of government bonds released by the State Treasury with a total number of calling for tenders at 4,000 billion in 3 terms: 5 years (2,000 billion), seven years (1,000 billion) and 30 years (1,000 billion).

With 5-year bonds, there were 18 participants with a total valid amount of 8,990 billion dong, and the interest for bidding bonds range was 6.02% to 7.20% per year. The result was 2,000 billion vnd of 5-year bonds successfully mobilized with interest of 6.08% per year, 0.04% lower in comparison with the previous session (03/08/2016). A subsidiary bidding session for 600 billion dong of 5-year bonds had 5 participants with the valid amount of 2,700 billion vnd. This session was successful with a 600-billion vnd mobilization.

7-year bonds bidding had 8 participants with a valid value of 2,756 billion dong and the range of bidding bonds interest was 6.59% -7.40% per year. This session successfully mobilized 1,000 billion dong of 7-year bonds with the interest rate at 6,60%, 0,02% lower in comparison with the previous session (27/07/2016). A subsidiary bidding session for 300 billion dong of 7-year bonds involved 4 participants with a valid amount of 1,200 billion vnd. The Mobilization result was 300 billion dong.

30-year bonds bidding attracted 4 participants. The total valid amount of bidding was 580 billion dong and the range of bidding bonds interest was 8.00% -9.50% per year. This session successfully mobilized 579 billion dong of 30-year bonds with the interest rate at 8.00% per year, the same level at the last session (27/07/2016).

Since early 2016, the State Treasury has successfully mobilized more than 216,784 billion dong of Government bonds through bidding at HNX.
